Philodendron splendid

This gorgeous hybrid was created by crossing Philodendron melanochrysum and Philodendron verrucosum. 

It has the characteristic heart-shaped leaves of a philodendron, but the leaves are big, bold, and velvety with beautiful cream-colored veins and a red back. When a new leaf unfurls it has the character traits of a verrucosum and as the leaf matures the leaf colour changes to a lighter green. 

These is a gorgeous rooted plant, with three plants growing on a 60cm moss pole.
