Begonia cleopatrae

Begonia cleopatrae is a charming rhizomatous species. It grows on a mountain called Cleopatra's Needle in the Philippines. This is how this gorgeous begonia got it's name. 

It has a small, oval, leathery leaf that is chocolate brown with a wide light green area along the main vein. This makes for a stunning terrarium plant.
